PRINCE2 Agile Foundation is a training and certification programme designed for professionals who want to acquire the skills needed to manage projects effectively by integrating PRINCE2 best practices with agile methods. This hybrid approach meets the requirements of today's projects, which are often complex and subject to time and budget constraints. By combining theory and practice, this course offers a complete and effective learning experience. You will develop the essential skills to understand the fundamental principles of PRINCE2 and Agile, while learning how to apply them in real-life contexts through practical exercises and case studies. This will enable you to successfully complete your projects, improve the quality of your deliverables and foster collaboration within your teams. At the end of this three-day programme, a mock exam will be offered to prepare you for the official exam included in our offer. Day 1: PRINCE2 and Agile fundamentals

  • Introduction to PRINCE2
  • Understand the Business As Usual (BAU) approach and how it relates to projects.
  • Discover the 7 principles, 6 themes and 7 processes of PRINCE2.
  • Explore product management and the standard roles within PRINCE2.
  • Introduction to agility
  • Define agile and trace its historical development.
  • Study the creation of the agile manifesto in the IT domain.
  • Identify the major agile methodologies and the essential elements of business agility.

Day 2: Association of PRINCE2 and agility, and preparation for certification

  • Synergy between PRINCE2 and agility
  • Understand why it makes sense to combine PRINCE2 with agile practices.
  • Examine the roles and responsibilities of a PRINCE2 Agile team.
  • Discover the agile elements built into PRINCE2, including the 8 fundamental elements, the correction concepts, flexible working, and the hexagonal approach to agile project management.
  • Application of PRINCE2 in an agile framework
  • Learn how to combine the 7 principles, 6 themes and 7 processes of
  • processes of PRINCE2 in an agile environment.
  • Understanding agile methods
  • Assess agility using an agilometer.
  • Identify the conditions required to adopt an agile approach, as well as the importance of agile communication, agile workshops and agile releases.
  • Preparation for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification exam
  • Take part in a mock exam with self-correction.
  • Engage in a question and answer session.
  • Receive advice on how to pass the official exam.
