Description

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner programme is a training and certification programme for experienced project managers who want to develop recognised expertise in agile project management. This course will enable you to become a PRINCE2 practitioner capable of integrating structure, governance and control with agile methods, techniques and approaches.
By taking part in our PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner course, you will acquire the best practices for managing agile projects with confidence. You'll learn how to combine the rigour of the PRINCE2 methodology with the flexibility of agile approaches such as Scrum and Kanban. Through practical exercises and case studies, you'll be able to adapt your approach and effectively overcome the challenges of managing complex projects.
At the end of this three-day programme, you will have the opportunity to take a mock exam to prepare for the official exam included in our offer. Successful completion of these assessments will enable you to obtain PRINCE2® Agile Practitioner certification (for more information, please consult the certification tab).

Day 1: PRINCE2 and Agile fundamentals

  • Understanding the principles, processes and methods associated with PRINCE2.
  • Exploration of different agile approaches, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Presentation of the PRINCE2 Agile model, which integrates best practices from both methodologies.
  • Discussion of the fundamental principles of PRINCE2 Agile, including flexibility, collaboration and added value.

Day 2: Adapting PRINCE2 to an Agile Context

  • Identification of the elements of PRINCE2 that can be adapted to an agile environment.
  • Selection of appropriate agile practices according to the specific context of the project.
  • Implement a hybrid approach to combine PRINCE2 and agility.

Day 3: Hybrid Project Management and Exam Preparation

  • Analysis of the different types of hybrid projects (100% Agile, PRINCE2 with Agile elements, etc.) and the specific challenges they present, as well as possible solutions.
  • Case study: analysis of real projects to apply the concepts learned.
  • Mastering PRINCE2 Themes in an Agile Context :
  • Organisation: Adaptation of PRINCE2 roles in an agile structure and allocation of responsibilities between project participants.
  • Quality: Implementing quality assurance for an evolving end product and quality control mechanisms.
  • Change: Effective management of changes and product versions.
  • Risks: Identifying and assessing risks in an agile project, and developing action plans to mitigate them.
  • Configurations: Managing different versions of a product and changes to requirements.
  • Mastering PRINCE2 Processes in an Agile Context :
  • Elaboration of the flexible business case and definition of the project mandate.
  • Creating a detailed agile project plan and obtaining start-up authorisation.
  • Steering the project with appropriate key performance indicators and effectively managing communication with stakeholders.
  • Adapting phase reviews to PRINCE2 and managing incremental deliverables.
  • Closing the project by evaluating the results and capitalising on the experience gained.
  • Preparation for the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam:
  • Passing a mock exam with self-correction.
  • Question and answer session to clarify any doubts.
  • Practical advice on how to pass the exam

  • PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification to sit the exam, or

  • PRINCE2 7 Practitioner ;
  • Understand the principles, processes and advanced methods associated with PRINCE2 and agile.
  • Identify the elements of PRINCE2 that can be adapted to an agile environment, as well as those requiring adjustments.
  • Master hybrid project management techniques based on the specific requirements of each project.
  • Prepare effectively for the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner certification exam.
