🗓️ Day 1 – Introduction & Initial Deployment

  • Overview of SonicWall, product range, and core technologies
  • Architecture of SonicWall firewalls (Gen6 vs Gen7)
  • Physical installation and firewall initialization
  • Accessing the administration interface (GUI/CLI)
  • Basic network configuration (interfaces, zones, routing)

🗓️ Day 2 – Security, Filtering & VPN

  • Creating and managing security rules (Access Rules)
  • Network objects and object groups
  • Content filtering, application control, Geo-IP, and Botnet protection
  • Configuration of site-to-site VPN (IPSec)
  • Setup of SSL VPN for remote users

🗓️ Day 3 – Maintenance, Monitoring & Certification

  • Logging, monitoring, and log analysis
  • Network diagnostics and common troubleshooting
  • Backup, restore, and firmware upgrade
  • Introduction to Capture ATP, AppFlow, and Deep Packet Inspection
  • Review session, mock exam (QCM), and SonicWall SNSA exam preparation
