The Certified CMMC Professional course provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and its essential requirements. This course is a crucial step for future assessors and trainers, as it is a prerequisite for obtaining the Certified CMMC Assessor Level 1, Certified CMMC Assessor Level 3, and Certified CMMC Instructor certifications.

day 3: scoping certification and assessment

  • Use the CMMC assessment scope documentation
  • Navigating the CSO environment
  • Determine how sensitive information flows

day 4: Identify and assess evidence

  • Identify the evidence
  •  Assess practices using CMMC assessment guides
  • Identify CMMC Level 1 domains and practices
  • Conduct a gap analysis of the CMCP Level 1
  • Evaluate Level 1 CMMC practices

Day 5: Identify Level 2 practices

  • Identify CMCP level 2 practices
  • Identify evaluation roles and responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare the assessment
  • Carry out the appraisalReport the appraisal results
  • Carry out the final evaluation of the CMMC POA&M (action plan and milestones)

There are no specific prerequisites for taking part in this course. However, a general knowledge of the concepts and principles of cybersecurity and information technology is recommended.
