The internationally recognized CompTIA Server+ certification enables you to master the installation, maintenance, securing and troubleshooting of IT service infrastructures, both hardware and software.
Our five-day CompTIA Server+ course is designed to develop the skills you need to configure server operating systems and deepen your knowledge of networks. You'll explore topics such as server architecture, administration, storage, security, networking and disaster recovery.
At the end of this theoretical and practical training, you'll be ready to take the CompTIA SK0-005 exam, included in our offer. This exam is a prerequisite for CompTIA Server+ certification, attesting to your skills for working in data centers and cloud infrastructures. For more information, go to the certification tab.

Day 1: Managing Hardware and Installing a Professional Server

  • Understand the different components of a server, including the power supply and cooling system.
  • Manage server hardware resources.
  • Prepare an installation protocol and mount hardware components.
  • Install the operating system (OS) on the server.

Day 2: Set up networking and create a virtualized environment

  • Manage network cabling and configure the network interface card (NIC).
  • Implement IP addressing services and network infrastructure.
  • Create a virtual server and virtual switches.

Day 3: Administer, secure and troubleshoot a server

  • Perform initial server configuration, including local properties and roles.
  • Administer a professional server with updates, access rights management and performance monitoring.
  • Deploy storage solutions, configure RAID storage, and secure the server with firewall and access control techniques.
  • Plan and carry out disaster recovery tests, and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, storage and security incidents.

This course is aimed at

  • all IT professionals wishing to acquire skills in virtualization, storage, security and server troubleshooting ;
  • IT professionals wishing to obtain CompTIA Server+ certification.

CompTIA Server+ training requires the following prerequisites:

  • ability to read and understand English for the SK0-005 exam;
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent level of knowledge and 2 years' practical experience in a server environment (recommended).

At the end of CompTIA Server+ training, you will develop the following skills:

  • Know, configure and manage support for the various hardware components of a professional server.
  • Administer and maintain servers, including configuring the operating system, managing access rights and creating virtual servers.
  • Support storage devices, including resource planning.
  • Implement security procedures to protect physical data and network communications.
  • Configure the connection of systems to the network, for both physical and virtual devices.
  • Master disaster recovery principles and apply backup solutions.
  • Detect and resolve incidents relating to server hardware, software, connectivity, storage and security.
  • Pass the SK0-005 exam and obtain CompTIA Server+ certification, valid for life.
