Description

The Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager course is a four-day course designed to equip participants with the skills needed to help an organisation design, implement and manage a disaster recovery planning project.

Why take part in this course?

Disasters, whether natural, man-made or technological, can seriously compromise an organisation's ability to achieve its objectives. If organisations fail to respond adequately to crises, their operations can be seriously threatened. It is therefore crucial for them to develop effective strategies to prevent, anticipate and manage these situations, based on well-structured disaster recovery plans (DRPs).
The PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager course offers an in-depth approach to managing disaster recovery planning projects, specifically in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. Participants will acquire the skills needed to analyse incident response, contingency and crisis management plans, as well as to carry out disaster recovery tests and evaluate performance. By completing this course, you will be trained in disaster recovery best practices and learn how to perform risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIAs).

At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to register for an examination. If you pass, you will be awarded the ‘PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager’ certificate, attesting to your expertise in supporting and leading teams in the development and implementation of best-practice disaster recovery strategies.
