The Lead Cloud Security Manager training course enables participants to develop the essential skills to establish and manage a cloud security program, based on internationally recognized practices.

At the end of the course, a certification exam will be offered. If you pass, you will be awarded the title of “PECB Certified Lead Cloud Security Manager”. This certificate attests to your ability to manage a cloud security program according to best practices.

Day 1: Introduction to ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 and the implementation of a cloud security program

  • Detailed presentation of training objectives and schedule.
  • Exploration of ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 standards and associated regulations.
  • Fundamental concepts of cloud computing.
  • Components of a cloud architecture.
  • Roles and responsibilities for information security in the cloud.
  • Drawing up an information security policy adapted to the cloud.

Day 2: Managing security risks and implementing cloud-specific solutions

  • Key steps for managing security risks in the cloud.
  • Selecting and planning actions to be taken.
  • Implementing cloud-specific actions (part one).

Day 3: Documented information management and employee awareness

  • Continued implementation of cloud security actions (second part).
  • Implement effective document management in the cloud.
  • Raising employee awareness and training on cloud security.

Day 4: Security incident management, testing, monitoring and continuous improvement

  • Steps to establish effective security incident management in the cloud.
  • Performing cloud-specific security tests.
  • Ongoing monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation.
  • Continuous program improvement process.

Day 5: PECB certification exam

  • Review exercises and preparatory quizzes.
  • Take the Lead Cloud Security Manager certification exam (duration: 3 hours).
