Day 3: Plan implementation, testing and maintenance

  • Techniques for implementing the plan: Strategies for effectively deploying the DRP within the organization, including staff training.
  • Importance of exercises and simulations: Conducting practical exercises to test the plan, identify gaps and improve preparedness.
  • Strategies for keeping the plan up to date: Importance of regularly revising the SRP to take account of changes in the operational or technological environment.
  • Incorporating lessons learned from exercises or real-life incidents: How to use feedback to continually improve the plan.
  • Disaster communication techniques: Establishing a clear protocol for communicating with all stakeholders during a crisis.
