Description

The Lean Management approach is implemented in all industrial and service companies, whether they are among the world's top performers or of any size. A trained expert becomes a catalyst for cultural change within the company. This performance- and customer-oriented approach is a learning path that extends to the use of tools and methodologies, gradually involving all hierarchical levels. Once a certain level of maturity has been reached, it becomes possible to train internal trainers who, as part of their duties, will ensure the sustainability of the approach and contribute to the company's continuous improvement year after year.
The implementation of Lean Management within a company leads to a significant improvement in customer service, resulting in increased sales, higher productivity and a considerable reduction in work-in-progress.

Day 1: Understanding and simplifying

  • Introduction to Lean principles and philosophy: Discover the fundamental concepts of Lean Management.
  • Understanding the 7 wastes (MUDA): Identification of the different forms of waste in processes.
  • Observe and be present in the field: Importance of active observation, using tools such as RATIO DELAY and TOUR STUDY.
  • Value chain and process analysis (MIFA): Understanding the key steps involved in optimizing processes.
  • Setting Lean objectives: Establishing clear objectives to guide Lean implementation.

Day 2: Product Compliance

  • Internal and external customer-supplier chain logic: Analysis of interactions between customers and suppliers.
  • Zero defects in TQC: Introduction to the concepts of Total Quality Control (TQC), Six Sigma and PPM (Part Per Million).
  • The ANDON principle: Use of warning systems and POKA YOKE techniques to prevent errors.

Day 3: Availability of production resources

  • Introduction to TPM: Presentation of Total Productive Maintenance and performance indicators such as MMT (Mean Time) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
  • TRS and R3 analysis: Understanding synthetic efficiency rates and downtime reduction.
  • Alignment logic and bottleneck analysis: Identifying and managing bottlenecks in the production process.

Day 4: Keeping pace with customer needs

  • Manufacturing to the rhythm of demand: Learning TAKT TIME to synchronize production with customer demand.
  • Calculating resources with WORK CONTENT: Assessing the resources needed to meet demand.
  • Managing variability: Strategies to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Supplier mapping: Setting up a supplier pick-up system, known as MILK RUN.

Day 5: Working with Just-in-Time (JIT)

  • Problem-solving methods and improvement tools: Introduction to techniques for identifying and solving problems.
  • Preparing conditions with 5S: Implementation of 5S principles for an organized work environment.
  • Reducing changeover times (SMED): Techniques for minimizing downtime during production changeovers.
  • Flow implementation with the HOSHIN site: Optimization of production flow.
  • Develop flexibility and coordination: Reinforce responsiveness to changing needs.
  • Partial delegation of scheduling with KANBAN: Use of the Kanban system to manage production flow.
  • FIFO inventory management at CMJ: Efficient inventory management to reduce working capital requirements.
